I recently listened to The Milk-Eyed Mender for the first time after obsessively listening to Ys, have one on me, and Divers obsessively for the last 8 months. Your covers do Joanna's absolutely beautiful harp playing justice. thank you for these covers

you're an inspiration! i am saving up for a prelude as well, and i can't wait to play more joanna newsom songs once i have more strings to play with. you play so beautifully!

like you, i learned her songs as a beginner and it was SO challenging but so much fun!

Thank you so much! The prelude was steep but has brought me more joy than I ever could have imagined. This was definitely challenging but I feel like the syncopation prepared me for Cosmia so I've been able to move through it much more quickly. Best wishes

Im wondering what really means 'en gallop ' . Because regarding being on a horse and riding it, we would say in french ' au gallop' . But maybe it is or it became an english expression...

This is so wonderful! Doing Joanna proud! Just wondering, were you tuned to Eb? Which levers did you pop up? Thanks so much!
@zakc75043 жыл бұрын
Yes, i was tuned to Eb and the E & A levers were popped up meaning I was playing in F Major (Bs are flat). Thank you so much!
