Just try changing the strings not the guitar... Dots on guitars vary... Some guitars don't hav those dots at all

Capo is needed only when u find it difficult to play barre chords and for fingerstyle playing... It is not necessary that beginners should use a capo... But if want to make the chords easy, u can use a capo 👍
