You're a great team. Love that you did your research on a group new to one of you and turned it into an intro about Oneus. For the last couple of years kpop has been stuck in a disco & 80's rut whereas Same Scent is reminiscent of A Song Written Easily and goes back to the tropical house, reggaeton & moombahton influences that were often heard from 2016-18 in songs like Blood, Sweat & Tears and Mamamoo's Egotistic, both co-written by Kim Dohoon. But I think the resemblance to earlier songs stops at the Caribbean beat and summery tropical vibe, partly because of the melancholy notes of fall that you mentioned. To my ears there's something fresh and uniquely Oneus about Same Scent that doesn't sound like a formulaic return to the past. I also think the last scene is a little weird. It seems like a flourish of choreo that's unrelated to the song and imo it doesn't paint a strong enough picture to deliver a final message or emotion.

this was SO well made wow! thank you! and you mentioned lit but did you see luna? luna is such a masterpiece as well, the mixture of traditional and modern is the perfection fusion. and the choreo really tells a story too! all their choreo is very well done, imo!

두 전문가분께서 해주시는 리뷰 너무 좋았어요! 영상 속에 가자라는 곡과 퍼포먼스가 좋았다고 하셨는데, 지난해에 발매된 월하미인 이라는 곡도 한번 들어보시면 좋을 것 같아요. 이번 same scent 가 쉽게 쓰여진 노래의 연작이라면, 월하미인은 가자의 연작이거든요. 국악기와 신스베이스가 조화되는데, 거기에 쌓여가다가 폭발하는 트랩 비트가 정말 강렬한 곡입니다. 또 쏭폼도 특이한 곡이라는 평이 많더라고요. 3번 등장하는 코러스가 꽤 인상적이실거예요 또 부채를 활용해 다양한 대형과 연극적인 연출이 많이 가미된 안무와 영상도 빼어나고요. 월하미인 역시 멤버 환웅이 참여하고 디렉팅했는데 디테일이 많고 화려해서 눈이 즐거운 영상이 될거예요 😊 채널 구독하고 좋아요 누르고 갑니다! 건강하세요~!
