I have the same combo (FCC version), plus other 500 series cameras and lenses. One of the main gratifying points of buying the 205FCC is being able to use that 110mm f/2 FE lens. Breathtaking lens rendering gorgeous bokeh, never disappoints. Nice post as always. Thanks!

great video John, but in addition to the points made at 2:36 the main reason for F2 aperture is that F/FE camera lenses have NO shutter (like their C\CF counterparts in the V system); and the fact the focal plane shutter in the 205 goes up to 1/2000th second, this allows F2 even outdoors in summer (bright lights), as you can speed up the shutter, NO need for excessive filtration with ND's to use the lens wide open; the f2 is also facilitated by the fact of no leaf shutter (lens is designed differently), so allows for more wide open; the 200 series is also intended for outdoor shooting, not just studio work.

@@tristancui2817 Well, if your lens’s symptoms as I stated, the main spring cost $80, the technician fee $35, if your lens needs other services not the main spring, I mean your lens needs to be CLA (clean lubricant adjustment) no parts to be replacement to make it, working, the service is $45, cheapest on this earth My FB Yongyut John Khasawong, Thank you and have a great day ❤️❤️
