Looking at the matches set for the final day can give some insight. Last two matches are White vs. Tama and Ishii vs. Sanada. My money is on Sanada beating Ishii to secure the block with Tama playing spoiler, beating Jay to keep White out of the final and setting up a future title match for Tama.

This block is stacked. I have a feeling Jay will come out on top, but Sanada or Taichi would be worthy block winners. I feel sorry for Ishii. He should have won a G1, or NJPW cup, or the big one (IWGP championship) at any time 2-5 years ago. But he's past his best now, and is more in the Suzuki role of being a hard old gatekeeper.

Yeah, Ishii used to be IWGP heavyweight champ material (I mean he's still tough but he's getting old) and it's a shame the NJPW management didn't even consider him at all.
