I'm so glad that Breakfast with Tiffany is really impacting a lot of people's lives in a positive way. It's nice to see that Lim Rara was able to gain strength through this show after her father died. And it's not often we see Tiffany open up about her mother but recently she has, it's truly heartwarming to see Tiffany growing. Another breakfast date with Tiffany being so full of positive energy. Trully relate about life struggles and how we work to support our parents. Failed a career 4 years ago. I was slowly getting back and got the groove to go for it again but I lost my dad a year ago. What was even more heartbreaking when I had to do the initial CPR while calling for help. Never in my nursing career did I ever thought of doing that to a love one, let alone my parent. I had to suppress my emotions coz I needed tons of energy to do the task. When he died, the world seemed to stop. For months the scene of me saving my dad kept on creeping my mind esp at night. I, at some point, blamed myself. I even had to keep myself away from the hospital. As much as I'm knowledgeable on how to manage grief theoretically, it was hard to do it on my own. I needed the help. Finally, I took the courage to talk to someone how I was struggling. I had to go back to reading so I don't end up thinking about it. Until time itself slowly heals. They say what's constant is change, there are times that we are bound to fail at 1 point. But it is really up to us on how we respond to the life challenges. Tiffany is right, we should move at our own pace so as not to exhaust ourselves and somehow get that groove again. There's nothing wrong of being selfish at times when you needed it the most. Take the time to heal and never compare yourself to others. We are all unique for a reason. Thanks Tiffany for this motivational morning. I'm definitely full of such inspirational and positive words coming from you. This show never fails to boost me up on the last day of such tiring week.💗
