This is a beautiful dēvaranāma composed by Vid Kalavati Avadooth in the raga Chandrakauns and set to Khanda chapu tala
Lord Krishna in Bhagavatgīta says: “One who makes me the supreme goal of life, who performs all his actions for me, who is fully devoted to me and lives in my consciousness, who is free from attachment and enmity towards all beings and friendly to all, certainly attains Me”.
Gopala Dasaru here in this dēvaranāma has tried to convey the same. He explains this by giving a lot of examples which can be noticed in caraṇas of the composition. He conveys that one should refrain from all attachments, which are related only to our physical form and think only about realizing the absolute reality.
