If that's too tough for you, then you have to wait for the official dark mode. It isn't hard at all, just make sure to follow the instructions. And remember - don't download any 3rd party apps, you can't be sure if it's safe

You can now. Just download latest version of youtube app. Then clear the cache of youtube to activate the darkmode. Then go to settings of youtube in general to switch on dark mode.
