After watching Shottzy at the major and the league matches today I have him at number 1. He is super intelligent and calm in high pressure situations. You absolute chaos in hardpoints and control towards the end but you watch shottzys arrow and the guy finds a way to worm through to a position where he can watch two players run past him and shoot them in the back. Does this so often and its crazy to me

Great vid!!! Dashy's performance is really difficult for me because I also have Cellium at #1 in my head, but you look at the placement, the stats, what he is doing on the map, and it's hard not to put Dashy there. I think the key point here is looking only at Stage 1, as Cell's consistency hasn't been in question, but Dashy's has. Overall, I agree. What is fun to think about is Dashy's huge comeback performance. I wonder if putting him in the main AR role is the reason, and I hate "roles" in CoD, but maybe that more concrete position and more stable responsibility compared to being a flex or 2nd AR has helped him in some way (obviously Rambo and his mindset are the biggest factors). Dashy's K/D has always been top 5, what makes me agree with Enable here is how he is deciding to get his kills, and keeping his team in mind more.

Sad to Big Wake not getting love with his monster stats just because his team has been a little lackluster. Man hasn’t been so great in SND but he’s got the number 2 overall k/d, and is number one in hp k/d, kp10m, and Damage p10m. He’s also top 10 in both control damage p10m and kpr. I love Scump, and he had an insane weekend however, Illey should've gotten the nod over him if you didn't want to do 4 OpTic. Tbh imo scump out performed Simp overall. Is it just me or does anyone think that simp isn't top 5 this year. Like everyone knows his ceiling and his talent but his best moments have came against the mid tier teams with a couple in the major. But overall this season especially in the qualifiers he has been very inconsistent. I would personally have scump over him at least bc they won the major and like enable said he has been playing lights out especially on that gavutu hardpoint. You can honestly move illey into the top 5 instead of simp but thats debatable.

I don't know if I agree with this list. Dashy is the most improved player in the first major, no question. But I don't think he's number 1. There were a lot of players that were overlooked including Iley who I think did a lot of impactful plays, more than just a cut-off AR. Chance called it during the game. He is the super soldier who soaked up time and did a lot of contesting in HP and control. He also did well in SnD including that 1v3 clutch. Another one I think is Abezy. I think he did way better than Simp on this stage. Commenters like to give credit to Simp's performance in the past, what he can do "when he gets mad" and somehow those carries over to him making the top 5. Simp's performance was on par with Envoy's. He and Abezy did a lot of the dirty work but I think Abezy was more successful in his 1v1 or 2 or 3 engagements than Simp. I would put Celium on 1 even he's annoying to watch at times; Abezy on 2, Iley on 3, Shotzy on 4, and Scump on 5. Dashy, Envoy and Simp would be the honorable mentions
