Oh that storm sounded terrible, I'm so glad it has passed by you relatively quickly and safely. I'm looking forward to Wednesday seeing the stitch that helped to make your beautiful sweater. Hat waxing is interesting, I don't really wear hats very often though, but it's handy to know. Can't wait to see what you'll be cooking up on Friday. Thanks for sharing Jane.

Thank you 😊 it is still blowing a hoollie & raining, have another few days of it, but no damage thankfully. I like waxed cotton hats as they are waterproof so keep the rain off. You really are so good as never miss commenting & I do look forward to it ❤️

Wonderful tip regarding waterproofing your hat. Have never heard of this technique, Jane. Thank you. Yesterday temperatures reached 40°C and we had thunderstorms and heavy rain with on and off smatterings. Today the current temperature is 17°C with an expected high of 19°C. Nothing like living in Melbourne, Australia, although we are an hour away, where it is well known that we can have four seasons in one day.

Thank you works on waxed jackets too like Barbour or dry as a bone, just rub all over with a white candle, if doing whole jacket I melt the candle in a jar put in a saucepan of water & the use a sponge or soft cloth & rub hot wax over & the use hairdryer to smooth it across. Saves a fortune having them professionally waxed or buying their tins of wax. Lovely to have warm weather but think we all have rainy weather ❤️

So nice to see and hear you Jane, I went into you tube to turn on some music and there you were! How long have you been doing this vlog? Your jumper is beautiful, you did a fabulous job on the stitches! All is good here, a wee bit chilly, but supposed to warm up by the end of the week. I am working on a little gnome (crocheted) for my Mom, she needs something to hide a key in to put outside her door for the emergency company if she needs help. Making it up as I go, but having fun with it. Don't let that wind blow you away, stay safe and warm!

Yay 😃 hello, great to hear from you on here. Started this beginning of year as have over a thousand craft videos so thought I would mix it up with some cooking, shopping hauls & vlogs. Great fun & another skill to learn in front of camera. Hat was auntie Alison’s & really battered as was in a box in Adams loft, so turned out really well. Done a few jumpers & waistcoats as like keep busy in colder wetter weather when can’t get in garden. Hope you’ll be a regular visitor hugs & love ❤️
