Craig is not only a damn fine player, and amazing educator, he's also one of the nicest and most enthusiastic drummers I've ever met. I've been lucky enough to meet him a few times and he always makes time to stop and chat, be it drums, music, or just whatever's happening at the time. If you get him talking about Roland his eyes light up like a kid at Christmas; it's endearing and so refreshing to see a drummer who is genuinely passionate about the craft of the equipment he plays. Plus, this kit is bad ass!

Steve Hackett sets the bar so high, you have to be on the top of your craft to be invited to be part of his band. Craig is a worthy successor to Gary and co.

The aforementioned drum tech John gave my son a pair of Craig's sticks at the Chicago show. He was so nice! A Steve Hackett show is something to behold. The whole atmosphere is super cool and friendly. The show is amazing and can't wait till he's back in Chi-town this year.

Saw the show in Milwaukee October 4. Had never seen or heard Craig before. He is a beast. Talking to a woman in seat in front of me before the show. She said, “We think he is Rush’s next drummer.” Lol. He could definitely do it. What a master!

Just saw the Strve Hackett tour stop in Washington, D.C. last night, at the +/-1,900 seat, beautiful Warner Theater (nearly 100 years old!).. I turned and said look how quick and strong Craig Blundell is, as a drummer! Simply put, he smoked it. Superb evening by the entire band! A nearly three hour show!❤

Actually, I believe Selling England By The Pound was recorded in August of 1973, which was about 2 years before Phil Collins joined Brand X. I'm looking forward to hearing Craig's fabulous rig live in Toronto. He's obviously an incredibly talented drummer and clearly a humble and passionate guy as well.

Mapex are an underrated drum company, the sound of their top range drums easily keeps up with most far Eastern drum companies, I just wish they would stop following the trend of shall short stack tom toms , Keep your toms nice and deep , I have been a mapex player for a good 12 years, I wish they would come out with an acyrilic kit .their hardware is shit hot to.
