It feels like the writers, composers and animators put meaning and purpose into every frame, it's amazing :D I didn't catch that she was in love with Mariano at all the first time I watched it xD it was only on my second watch I caught all the signs. (But it might also have been because I watched it without subtitles in the cinema, so a lot of things got lost in translation for me, as English is my second language 😅)

It’s funny because I had a concept for an OC where Dolores’s daughter had water powers. 😆 She would wear a lot of Camilo and Antonio’s hand-me-downs because she doesn’t like wearing dresses, and she always felt safe and happy when she was around or in water, hence the water powers. She would also have a good relationship with Tía Isa, since she had similar powers and encouraged her to be herself. And when she was sad, Abuela Pepa would hold her under one of her rain clouds to cheer her up. ^_^ (I haven’t thought of a good name yet.)

I think it'd be fun to name the kids after their respective gifts. For the oldest twins, Cristal (just Spanish for crystal) and Guadalupe (somewhat unclear meaning, having to do with the Virgin Mary, possibly meaning wolf river). For the younger boy, Gregorio (Spanish version of Gregory, meaning watchful). For the little girl, Aura (means breeze), and for the baby, since we don't know quite yet what his powers will be, Salvo, (Spanish for safe). A little on the nose for these guys, but I think it's kinda fun lmao

It's overwhelming to think about the fact that one day almost all of the kids from family Madrigal will have children, and how their children may have families, and so on to the point where there where be so many people with a gift, and the Casita may need to give new children gifts from past relatives. I think it would make a cool concept for a possible second movie if the family has grown so large that they have to spread out, and over the decades Madrigal history would be pretty much forgotten. The people who do have gifts will be treated as either outcasts or royalty, and they think they are the only ones until the meet up with a relative who also has a gift since they are a Madrigal. Civilization may have evolved past modern times so it would be different circumstances, but I still think it's an interesting thing 😎
