Nice video! I own a commercial cleaning company now for 22 years I've been doing carpets this way for the last 12 ish. My favorite is doing senior condos main hallways. My wife and i can get 3 floors done in roughly 3 hrs for $500( Canadian) . A company with a truck mount used to charge them $1300.

I own both carpet extractors and low speed buffers, as well as burnishers for hard floors. As a vendor who mostly deals in contracts with state buildings, I deal with a lot of high traffic flooring. My favorite method is the 175 and pads/bonnets for high traffic and stain agitation after pretreat, then going over the entire carpet with the extractor. Since high traffic tends to compact the carpet it also helps with lift too imo. Waiting on a carpet brush to come in to see if they work any better, but the pads/bonnets do pretty well.

I love the 175 and micro or green and white scrub pads for high traffic and stains. Ordered a carpet brush for the 175 and I think I'll like it too.

I'm dizzy from the camera movement. I suggest using a tripod, especially for a video that's a professional demonstration and instructional. Thanks for advising about encapsulation because we're having that type of cleaning done to our carpets this week.

On our newer videos we have changed and have different cameras stability. And you're welcome

Is the cleaning solution mixed with water? Does the sprayer get the solution on baseboards, furniture, etc? How do you get the solution /water out of the carpet or does it just dry in? What is the dry time with this method?
@carpetcleaningprofessor4 жыл бұрын
With encapsulation solution there's no reason to remove it from the carpet it will dry and catalyze to a fine particle that is easily vacuumed out if sprayed properly you will not get it on furniture or baseboards but you need to pay attention Because it is a maintenance system it is designed to be dry within a hour of cleaning

Whats the diff between encap & vlm ??

???????
@carpetcleaningprofessor Жыл бұрын
Encapsulation is different than the VLM VLM often times involves a level of soil removal we’re encapsulation relies on the chemistry to hold the soil between vacuuming stages

What do you mean by "Can you do what I do with a truck mount"
@carpetcleaningprofessor3 жыл бұрын
well no matter how good you can clean carpet with low moisture cleaning you can never replace the fact that you can't do water recovery, power washing, you also can't do things like running spinner for tile and grout I will always stand by that low moisture cleaning is a terrific thing to add to the cleaning arsenal it is also wonderful for someone starting out but you just can't replace the versatility of either a high-powered etm or truck mount

@Aspect617 yes absolutely there's benefits when it comes to that especially in a healthcare facility
Hey is that Panasonic Vac a commercial grade vacuum? I saw one earlier with a different color power cord, let alone only having a 25ft power cord
@carpetcleaningprofessor5 жыл бұрын
This particular(not all panasonics)vacuum is UL for commercial and residential it is unique in that aspect it shares this unique feature with the oreck XL as well as Kirby and sanitaire. the reason I chose this vacuum for this video is the fact that it has a bronze CRI rating as well as its price point for the guy starting out I personally us kerby's as well as Windsor's. I also highly recommend finding a good quality used Kirby which has a gold or platinum rating with the CRI. If you want to go full out commercial you can but it makes it difficult to maintain at your local vacuum cleaner shop.

@carpetcleaningprofessor4 жыл бұрын
Yes I did say that you can get a small machine like the however I no longer recommend that machine there's much better on the market that are at the same price point and far more durable

If your a professional and can afford bags for the vacuum like you state in the beginning of this video, you should aslo be professional enough to move the chairs in that space and do ALL the carpet.

Actually you're incorrect have no clue it's a carpet maintenance program we do not move any of the furniture during the maintenance program.

Compared to an extractor it's very quiet lol Way quieter than any orbiter I've ever And a little quieter than a CRB Lot of the noise you hear is the sound of the pads rubbing against the carpet and the rattling of the adjustment handle that loose I'll probably get to tighten it sometime this decade lol

On this video, it sounds pretty loud, but in person, The tennant/noble floor machine really is nice and quiet. A person could easily chat over the phone with it running.
