Well l got viral encephalitis in 1997 after taking a flu shot at the state dept. I usually take my flu shots at the hospital because l worked at the hospital. But my supervisor and l took it the same day. She was sick first and l thought she was on vacation. When she finally returned to work l was going on vacation to take my son to visit NYC. And when l came back l was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with viral encephalitis. And right away the want to say you are depressed and but you on antidepressants. I was on Geodon until 2014 when l had an allergic reaction and that plus opioid drugs my doctors put me on caused me to have elevated ammonia levels. And so the hospital that my daughter works for did TIP procedure on me. They told me l had an extra vein in n my liver. When they did the procedure they found out l had 5 extra veins in my liver. I had problems with memory but in 2017 l went to the Mayo clinic in Rochester. And the Lord blessed me with my memory back. And l believe in helping others so l adopted a family a single mother and her seven children as my grandchildren. One of her children had autism and l have a natural grandson with autism. So l wanted to help this family. So l ended up charging my credit card for food and gifts for the family. And the mother used me and l ended up in a psych ward missing my youngest grandson first Christmas. My husband would bring me to the Mayo clinic and l would tell him to take notes. He never did so in 2019 l had to have emergency heart ablation surgery. And God has blessed me with the best cardiologist you can ever have. He was so diligent about helping me because he knew my previous cardiologist were just using me. Now one of them is in jail. And the hospital my daughter works at they never did the TIP surgery before nor did they tell me that because l wouldn't have signed my name for the to do the procedure. So my rheumolotogist told me in Oct to go back to the Mayo clinic because now it's been the fifth time l was placed in a psych ward and the doctor said your ammonia levels was too high so we had to bring it down. So in Dec 2019 l went back to the Mayo clinic and a 20 min surgery fixed my TIP procedure that this hospital didn't finish. And l haven't fell on had seizures or convulsions since last year. But l still take lactulose and Xifaxian. And l do have Hepatic encephalopathy autoimmune. But l been able to get my license back and l even was working at the hospital for 5months. But l had to leave because of martial problems and my husband who wants to continue helping this women with her kids. So l know it time for me to move on. Because God has more for me. And the strange thing is we adopted 2 girls and my oldest daughter last week had to have brain surgery. She had a mass in her brain non cancerous. So l have to help her. Love Mayo clinic. Its Amazing.

Is having Migraine Encephelopathy the same diagnoses as Encephelopathy Autoimmune? because I have temporal lobe dysfunction, short term memory issues, 24/7 migraines, do not respond to ANY migraine meds just opiates.any info I would appreciate.have had this since i was 12 now 58 pretty much house bound.
