Enchanted is one of my all time favourite movies, the scene where she discovers the feeling of anger is the number 1 example I have of just incredible acting. It's just a zoom in of Amy's face, and you can read every change of emotion through the small twitches of her facial muscles, and I think it's a total masterclass that every actor should have to study. Because she's not just angry, she's angry, then she's confused, then she's surprised that she's angry, then she's delighted that she's angry, and you can see it all. I love it. And her. But the main thing I think you missed is my favourite of the fun facts, that the old men in the How Does She Know song were cast from the original chimney sweep dancers in Mary Poppins

So, I was actually present when they shot some of the Central Park scenes for this movie (on a choir trip w a bunch of theater nerds, so we were more excited about Idina being in this movie than Patrick Dempsey). They had blocked off parts of the park at a time, including Columbus Circle, but I don't remember that it impeded the flow of people around the park and the city that much. You guys are right in that while it was interesting to see James Marsden and others in full costume and make-up, filming in NYC at that time was not super uncommon. If you spent a whole sunny day in NYC, you likely ran into some kind of film crew (especially Law & Order).

There is a deleted scene floating around where Idina does a big falling-in-love finale number with James that does seem to tie things up a little more neatly (and makes some of the visual transitions at the end make more sense too).

Drop Into City is definitely one of the best shows the guys have cooked up in the last few years My parents LOVED this movie, so I watched it with them many times and it holds a special place in my heart because of that. The NY critters coming to help her clean gets me every time. Also, James Marsden in this movie is the reason I got into himbo's 🤣

Am i crazy, or does seriusly no one talk even a silible about nathaniel, the queen's henchman? he's driving the antagonitic plot most of the movie. and a fun fact you missed is that james marsden was actually accidantly run over by the bikes, it was supose to be fake, or they were suppose to pass him but he actually got hurt. and the whole idea of the statue that she builds in the beginning of the movie is suppose to be robert and that it was actually him that she dreamed about, not just the costume. lastly, for me, since i didnt grow on the knowledge of brodway and westend, and discoved musical theater like broadway only years after seeing this, i knew idina menzel only from this movie, so i didnt even know she was a singer at all.. didnt understood it was her even when i saw frozen.
