This beautiful trail in Beazell Memorial Forest in the Pacific Northwest meanders alongside Plunkette Creek, where alders, big leaf maples and moss-draped yews create a enchanting forest canopy. In spring, the path bursts with wildflowers such as wild larkspur while a chorus of bird song fills the air. We even catch a glimpse of newts relaxing in the cool water of a babbling creek. This hiking path through a temperate rainforest features numerous footbridges, a moss covered gazebo and even the rusted remnants of a vintage car. After a peaceful woodland walk, a sense of calm always fills me. My hope is this virtual hike captures at least some of the restorative power of nature which helps in relaxation and stress relief. This 40-minute virtual hike contains no talking, no music, just relaxing nature sounds. 🌲
