I kind of thought Brendan would get another kick at the can. He was always so effortlessly sympathetic - kind of like Tom Hanks, in that - that I had imagined that, given the right opportunity, he could really shine. Ke Huy Quan, on the other hand, absolutely blew me out of the water with his performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once. I had no idea he was such a powerful, sensitive performer. I agree: it would be well deserved for both to win.
