Thanks for the video Jimmy! I picked up a good deal on wheels with a good brand of near new tyres for the project car today, a nice upgrade over the factory rims (from 215/60 R16 to 235/55 R18) and cheaper than putting new tyres on the old rims. $500 AUD ($300 USD) for the set with wheel nuts!

That's a great deal on wheels and tires!

I did a set of those Honda valve covers last week. Old rubber and plastic fought me the whole way
@JimmyMakingitwork2 сағат бұрын
Man their rubber selection is bad. Nice work!

I purchased the d1 lite as a back up to my launch about a month ago. I was very impressed with it that it has more or less become my main scan tool
@JimmyMakingitwork2 сағат бұрын
That D1 Lite is a pretty good scanner! Full video soon!

Eric O has a lawnmower in the background sometimes, you have music. No copyright strike for lawnmowers though.
@JimmyMakingitwork18 сағат бұрын
Haha that’s funny! Maybe I need a lawn mower, he’s nearly at 1 million subs! 😎

The MWC reference about the Cadillac Allante cracked me up, to this day when I see one I hear her voice saying that, I usually say it out loud if one of my kids is in the car. I had to show my 20 year old the original episode, because he just didn't get my explanation of it...😂. Man, the profit margin on those increased wiper sales has to be at least 37% over new tire sales, right?🤫
@JimmyMakingitwork18 сағат бұрын
Haha those wiper blades! I’m surprised they don’t make a new allante and reuse a similar add.

Jimmy, I share your videos to my friends. I sure wish I knew how to get you more traction? I love watching all your content. You are a very friendly person and I like how you are able to verbalize exactly what you are doing. You are a great teacher. I pick up little things and techniques that hat have obviously taken you a career to know. You definitely should be over 500k subscribers. As Joe Dirt says, Keep on Keeping on.

I like the closeups. I look forward to the Otofix review. I'd be curious if you can see CAN high and CAN low on the Otofix like Eric O can on the Autel.
@JimmyMakingitwork18 сағат бұрын
I’d be surprised if it can do that, but we will look into it. Thank you!
@sheerwillsurvival206422 сағат бұрын
Tekton would probably send you a new one if you mail it too them

Modern gm's you can't overwrite a used module..their way of keeping new part sales up..same thing with newer ford and chryslers too

Yeah, many of them now don’t allow it. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a govt mandate?

its getting bad out there for quality parts and availability for cars and trucks that are only 10 years old even three years old or new vehicles I can get all the parts I need for my 2005 4x4 blazer and my 91 GMC 1500,I think Ill keep those old pigs.
@JimmyMakingitwork21 сағат бұрын
The good thing about a 91 is not too much plastic. And an LS swap is possible when needed some day. ;)

Removing a Daddy Long Leg spider from the brake area, then relocating it to a safe place will add .1 to the labor charge. It's a known fact amongst repair shops Jimmy, so don't feel like you're padding the job.
