Their Japanese VA might be better I dunno. The reason why I use English VA is so I don't have to lazily navigate my eyes to read the subtitles

Who's voiced by smoker ? Encore and Lumi have the perfect VAs in EN that reflect their characters the best. JP VAs sounds either like 12 old or "ara ara" milfs with rarely anything in between. It doesn't matter if it's Hoyo, Kuro, or any other Gacha company - their JP hiring preferences are sus af. Also, as a non-native JP speaker I would rather want to understand the emotions behind the sentences rather than understanding more or less what they mean and getting the context from the subs.
