I’ve seen this guy perform Smetana’s Moldau and, apart from this, it’s the only other piece I’ve ever seen him perform and yet I still think he’s probably up with Valentina Lisitsa as a pianist. Yet he gets so little attention. He’s a wonderful player, he’s got some of the best technique I’ve ever seen

Magnificent..but me makes a mistake at about 2:24 ...Only a classically trained pianist would pick up on that.......but he knew. In my wildest dreams............I could never play like that!

I have to disagree. It is a technically demanding piece, but he has a lot of fun with it. Shostakovich wrote a lot of wit into his music, Noack captured it in the transcription, and Mr. Poizat played it flawlessly. Bravo!
