Whats the purpose of that open space in the floor of your house?Why not keep it close,so that dusts insects,snakes ,rats could not enter inside your house?i felt so strange in most Vietnamese house,their are open space like that.Sorry of my comments.

Could be opened for ventilation for their floors mostly of ground soil, not many pour cement for flooring.

The chickens are not for content though. That snake is coming back. And yes, I don't understand the openings at ground level of the houses. This opening for air flow don't make much sense, since it's already open at the top. Maybe it's open so the snakes can go in and out, yuk!

For those asking why there is a gap between the wall and floor of the wood and bamboo houses after a little research (which you could have done yourself) I have an answer. ( Okay I have been curious too about it for a long while.) It is a cultural and a traditional way to build it like that. And due to the humidity and heat it allows airflow. And during the rainy weather it allows the water to flow in case of flooding are just some of the reasons why.

Hi Tried. I noticed that most of your house have open spaces at the top and bottom of them I know it’s for ventilation,i don’t have a problem with that all I am saying meshed them you will still get air but keep out insects,snakes and rodent. It’s just my opinion 🇯🇲🇯🇲🙏🏾💕👀

Hola cómo estás veo k está mejorando tu vida esta bien k haigas puesto cemento en el piso de tu cuarto y la cocina no único k veo mal es ese espacio qué hay en la parte de abajo ahí se te pueden meter culebras cualquier animal k te haga daño a ti y tu Niño tápalo con ladrillos sería más conveniente no lo tapes con bambú pues ese bambú con el tiempo coje polvo del mismo bambú piensa en tu niño poco a poco lo puedes hacer hay perdona mi comentario pero eso sería lo mejor bendiciones a ti y tu niño 😍

There is a lot of comments which are good in which I was thinking the same thing to try to secure all the bottom part of the house by closing it up and it won’t just be safety for you it will be safety for the baby you’re gonna have to start securing your house using wood because where are one snakethere is more. This is when you need your family again to come and help build a healthy and strong house
