Sultry, silky and syncretistic, the new Encounters undertakes a bold pilgrimage, traveling from East to West. The main olfactive focus, iris, is depicted as in a botany journal, unraveled before us, sketched out in vivid tones of blue, green and sunset-gold.

OMG I just found you. I didn't know about this fabulous review, I am so humbled! And getting to the Morris' image (copyright free, for those who wonders): I love his works, which is also so unmistakably Western. But this series with the blue flowers somehow evoked me of some Islamic blue flower patterns - from Izmir pottery or Persian illuminations. So I chose this image to embody the idea of bringing West and East together in a new balance!
