If Damian was a real person he would be the first person to die if the world ended. He clearly knew that the mc liked him but lived off her but then blindly cant understand how broken she becomes because of her best friend. if you look at the two couples they are almost like 2 sides of a coin. D and M couple know how others feel but cant be honest and let that person most hurt know and the S and C couple might be fake to start but are the ones who have hid their feelings for so long that now they can be happy together without the trashy people who should be smart enough to know to back off because of the pain they cause.
