I have the Sport and L'Extreme! I can't believe how they managed to tame the Vertiver to make a all year scent! I love the Lalique quality. Great video

For the money, one of the best frangraces for sure. Especially this one, which could be weared all year arround, but yeah, it's best for the spring and summer. Simply adore it beacouse typical vetiever note it's still there, just the scent is much more likeable and wearable all year around. It's not a complment beast, beacouse it's not at all "in you're face" style of projection and scent, but people really like it, especially ladies.

The Sport flanker is the best of the 3 IMO. All of them smell great just difficult to find the right situations to wear the OG or the Extreme. The Sport you can wear anytime. Definitely a unique freshie. My advice is to massively over spray the Sport you won’t offend and you will smell amazing. I put approx 30 sprays on. With the Extreme you will over do it so 10 sprays is plenty. The OG is in between. Post Cologne nailed it with this review. Just buy the Sport you will be amazed.

I have all 3 of the Black Inks. My favorites in order: A'la Extreme, Sport, and then the OG. The Extreme is definitely a classy, dressed in a suit juice...so challenging in finding situations for this outside of formal occasions. The Sport is the most versatile while maintaining the original DNA. The OG is so dark and rooty that it's been tough to find situations for it as well, but it's good too. Good content!

I'd agree with all that, including the ordering. Same for me. The a l'extreme is my favorite, but I enjoy all 3 a lot. I reach for the OG anytime it's foggy and rainy, fits the vibe for sure. Appreciate the comment Phlip!

Out of the 3 I'd definitely repurchase Encre Noire Edt and Sport. They both smell fantastic in the air, especially if you live in a big city. The smell of rain and woodlands is very therapeutic.

The Extreme version's smells are high class. I don't really understand the sports version and this one is one of my regrets of blind buy. I feel like it's just water with a few drops of perfume.

I have the original but I agree with what you said near the end of the video. It makes me more confident I feel clean and smell good. It never gathered many compliments. It is for ME So I wear it at work

I like the way you described the original one like a dark Forest and then you said the sport lightens it up a little bit. I've been trying to decide which one of these I want to get and it's actually kind of hard. I haven't been into fragrances since I was a teenager. Back in the Polo and Drakkar days. I just recently got Burberry hero and guess 1981 but I think I'm into the more "darker" scents. I definitely wear it for me but the sport version sounds like it might be a little more pleasing to others. I definitely don't want to offended people walking around LOL thanks for the video

Thanks okcool! Yeah, personally I think the sport is a good entry way for the encre noire line. You will definitely get a sense of what the original and a l'extreme is about once you smell sport. Then go from there. The OG is definitely darker, earthy, and a bit challenging for some.

Still have to get this one. I have the OG and enjoy it. One of, if not the best snap-on cap of anything I've ever owned. The juice is definitely a style and situational scent. Though it reminds me quit a bit of a decent sized farm a friend had in his basement many years ago, one that the DEA didn't approve of when they found out. 😂 I think a run down of all three in the EN like would be a welcome review.

I own all the encre noir. I agree on your review. Good stuff! My sport noir lasts 1 hour silage and 4 hs skin scent. Not beast mode but not weak

The original really shines in the dry down for me. Initial opening is a bit challenging but worth it. Haven't tried this one but would definitely give it a try. Also your last sentiments embody how I feel about fragrances. I don't need all my fragrances to last forever or be super attention grabbing, some I wear because I love the scent. 😅😂 I even wear a couple to bed sometimes, fragrances just put me in a peaceful mood

Yeah the original is beautiful on the drydown. Big fan. 100% love the scent is what it's about. I also wear fragrances to bed most nights. Aroma therapy for a good sleep. I have a video planned at some point of bedtime fragrances I enjoy.

This is exactly what Encre Noir smells like to me. It smells exactly like, have you ever smelled a cork board? Or one of those cork pen and pencil holder that ppl used to have on their desk? Maybe like a teacher? Well that’s what it smells like to me. There for I don’t like it. Extreme is ok but there’s other frags I’ll wear before that. So sport it is for me lol

Encre Noire A+, Encre Noire Sport A+, Encre Noire L'Extreme hard pass! For me the L'Extreme was too much. That said, I usually don't like any "extreme" frags.
