Love your humor 🙂 Sounds like fun, and love the checkerboard setting! Glad you're doing another sew along. 1 block a week is doable, but I don't mind doing 2 blocks a week. I'd also love to see videos of you sewing all the pretty projects that you have on your design wall, and you could share the pattern names without giving sizes. You do such a good job with color choices, it'd be nice to hear and learn about your thoughts. It'd be a win-win for all of us--You'd bring in more revenue and We'd be entertained with more projects on our tables! 😅 Just a thought.

The truth is I just don’t have time to make so many videos. Each video I make now takes an average of 4 hours to film and edit. If I covered everything I was doing I would have far less time for actual sewing. Hehe I have considered it in the past.
@jennystrahley9274 ай бұрын
@@kendalltaylor5636 That makes sense. I wouldn't want to spend that much time filming and editing either. I had no idea it was that time consuming. Are the YT Shorts as lengthy to do? Just curious. I'm all for more sewing time! I've had you running in the background all afternoon today--hope that helps to promote your channel. Today I've been doing more organizing/cleaning than sewing but I'll get back to sewing. Take care, see you Saturday with an update!

Hi Kendall I play on joining your sampler from whatever blocks you chose. I am subscribed but not sure how to get on your channel other than when Pat leaves a link. Is there another way for me to sign in to your channel that will benefit you more? A lot of time with some of Pat's sew along you have to have the book and I do not have the funds to always purchase - I am also from Canada so out money is not even close to an ¨U.S. $$ plus expensive and slow postage. Will wait to hopefully hear from you. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for being a subscriber!!! Your support means a lot to me! Yes, quilting can be a very expensive hobby. No need to buy anything for this one though. On the left hand side of KZbin (or in the menu on any device that isn’t a computer) you should be able to see a full list of channels you are subscribed to. Just scroll through to my name and you will be at my channel. Alternatively, just search my name in the search box. I hope this helps.

I found you by watching Pat Sloan over the years. However, although there is a diverse group of people, I'm not interested in cross-stitch whatsover. I also got baited into buying many of one popular designer's books because she is also FQS's favorite as well, only to not have used any of the books for any of the QAL'S because the fabric requirements are in a ridiculous amount and I'm not a fan of her fabric lines. Live and learn, right. Anyways, I don't watch Pat Sloan anymore because I really don't care to buy the books involved. I know that she does host free Block Wednesday QAL'S- but, I would like to know what fabric requirements (within a closer range) really are. So, if you really only need 9 FQ's, but for variation it is recommended to use a bundle, absolutely state so. I hate to hack into a 30 piece FQ bundle where I really only use a square out of some pieces and none out of others. I must have probably 300+ loose FQ'S that I could make a bundle out of, but don't know where to begin because I don't know what direction the QAL is going to go.

Will you be able to suggest a fat quarter group we could purchase through, the Fat Quarter shop? I hope I don't need the book, but fabric or a ruler would be ok.
@kendalltaylor56364 ай бұрын
The Fat Quarter Shop has many options of bundles that they compiled themselves. A minimum of 12 fat quarters would be required to ensure each block can be different. The background and sashing fabrics should all be the same to give the final product cohesion. She the exclusive Ft Quarter Bundles here - shrsl.com/4mpp8

@kendalltaylor56364 ай бұрын
Comments help show KZbin that the video is interesting and as a result it is recommended to more people. The ad revenue is always small.
