End of an Era??: Demon Drop's Final Plunge??

There are a lot of classic ride but very few can be called the last of a kind. Demon Drop is truly the last.
Known as the Intamin Drop Tower, these flat rides used to be all around amusement parks in the 80's and 90's but as time changed, they started disappearing pretty rapidly.
Heck, even Dorney Park's Demon Drop wasn't originally here, it actually came from Cedar Point and got moved here when it's area became the landing spot for Gatekeeper.
When you visit Dorney Park, make sure you jump in line for this classic. You never know when your LAST RIDE will actually be your LAST RIDE

I do think Dorney has plans to build a coaster back there in the next few years. Hopefully demon drop stays when that happens.

The issue in that area is the houses back there sometimes complains about the noise. I think the area where the Dinosaurs Alive was is the location that would be used first but hey, let's do both!!

I think Japan has the most left (Nagashima, Rusutsu-nothing else notable, Himeji Central Park-who also have a Bat clone and Venus GP), plus Movieland in Garda Italy

Yes because Dorney is NOTORIOUS for just axeing rides without no Final Ride notifications. Take Stinger and Monster for example.

They do have a history. In the case of Demon Drop, I think it will be a terminal maintenance issue where it breaks down, they can't get the piece to fix it and they call it a day. Thanks for watching

I'd rather see Enterprise replaced with a more modern type similar ride than seeing Demon Drop gone.

The new Enterprise is turning up at a lot of parks lately (mostly Six Flags) so I can see that.
