End of BIG3 in Pakistan - How Japanese Govt is rescuing Toyota, Honda and Suzuki

Pakistan’s auto industry is nourished under the shadow of protectionist policies with no competitive atmosphere. Japanese companies including Indus Motor Company (Toyota), Honda Atlas Cars Pvt. Ltd (HACL) and Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) enjoyed a comfortable position. However, winds of change are sweeping the dominance of BIG 3, ushering in a new era of challenges and opportunities.
Suffice it to say, there is no cozy environment anymore as policies have changed. Opening the market for new entrants in Completely Knocked Down (CKD) segment and relaxing the regulation pertaining to used import cars has unleashed a much-needed competition.

This will be a very big change after Japanese cars were introduced in the the Pakistan market when American and British cars were phased out. The Japanese companies took advantage of their exclusive monopoly and marketed sub standard cars besides violating the original agreements which allowed them in. This involved malpractice by the Japanese companies as well as by the home bureaucracy which facilitated their activities. Now the entry of the Chinese with their quality products will bring a refreshing change. Well done Pakistan🇵🇰

السلام علیکم السلام علیکم ان گاڑیوں کی اجارہ داری ختم ہونی چاہیے یہ جو بار بار یہ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ گاڑیاں ہیں باہر مہنگی پڑتی ہیں ٹیکسس کی وجہ سے تو اس کا مطلب تو یہی ہے نا کہ وہاں سے 67 جنریشن کی گاڑیاں اور یہاں پے 5 جنریشن کی گاڑیاں دو درجہ نیچے اور اس کے بعد ریٹ میں اتنی واضح فرق ریٹ بھی زیادہ ہے اس کا مطلب ہے کہ یہ ان سب کمپنیوں کو تمام کمپنیوں کو چھوٹی گاڑیاں چھوٹے تھوڑے ریٹس والی جو دس دس سے پندرہ لاکھ کے درمیان ہو وہ نکالنی چاہیے نہ کہ یہ 25 30 پچاس لاکھ 70 لاکھ 80 لاکھ والی گاڑیاں
