Love your reports Bob and your straight up honesty with your frustration of not getting the big bag yet. We all go through it. Johnny and Paul literally live in the lake with the bass. They don’t live in homes. They have the upper hand and are not going to spill the beans. Lol. Idk I have not been up there lately, but if I’m looking for a 30lb bag without all the electronic FFS gizmos and whatever else, I’m strictly fishing north from here on out. It’s February now and that calls for the North end for the next few months. That’s just my preference from my past experiences there. When it’s February at Clear Lake, I have zero interest and desire to fish the South end. Not my cup of tea. My confidence goes way up fast when I’m in the north end now. Especially with the ARig. The fish are easier to target and find. Keep grinding dude! It will happen!😎👍🏻👍🏻🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣

Thanks for reports! Want to plan a trip up there for some crappies. Can you recommend any places that i can stay at for a few days that can accommodate a trailered boat ?

Clearlake Oaks has a ton of vacation rentals on the water with docks. Alot of angler's stay in this area.

Thanks for the report. Was there for three days, couldn’t get on a bite. On day that I zeroed, a buddy had a 30+ lbs bag. Someday I hope to learn to fish again.
