I have a strong suspicion the Season 2 XP path won't be any different. Let me explain why. If EA was to change the path, make the rewards better, etc. it impacts the entire basis of sets and the chase cards. Suddenly. grinding for McDavid or Teambuilders or Icons becomes no big deal and players start churning out Captain cards like it's nothing. The entire ecosystem changes and the market and EA's longterm plan for the game becomes pointless. As much as you've preached "If we knew ahead of time, we would have liked it better", if they just change it now, all of that is turned upside down.

I have a full IRL Sabres lineup in game now and absolutely love it. I'm an offline player only so I know that probably makes a difference in how fun and competitive it is but nonetheless, I'm really enjoying running these lines when not chasing objectives.

Love the content as always. Tbh I usually don’t get discouraged from games, but after coming up short after grinding basically every day and still not getting done with xp path suck ass. I’m not that good of a player so I can’t play on superstar, idk how they expect any semi casual player to sit everyday to finish it. At least with MLB The Show they put out xp boost to help players. Literally sitting at level 54 and my time feels wasted like no other.

i spent 34 hours of nonstop playing and hating my life to get Jack Eichel starting from tier 46 all the way to tier 60. the amount of four minute squad battles and the urge of absolutely wanting to send my head through my monitor was at an all time high. i really hope EA fixes the way to get the XP cards or to do the XP path, like a slight increase in how much XP you get cause that grind was absolutely diabolical. however, the amount i played i was able to get Barzal, Celibrini, Michkov, Morrow AND Stank from the next gen set and build my team to be absolutely incredible.

Could just be me but I honestly think Weber skates like 5x faster than what his speed stat is. He is nowhere near 82 speed.

It’s pretty insane to me that someone who’s made an msp from every event, finished every single moment in the game, completed every list of objections still doesn’t earn enough xp for eichel. After finishing moments/objections/30 sb games, I literally don’t have enough time to play rivals or champs and have finished all but 2 weeks of wildcard (online). I guess you need to play an ungodly amount of hours to actually complete the XP path. Is there a better or more efficient method of gaining xp? I play all squad battles games on superstar and wildcard offline. Sorry for the rant, appreciate all you do sleeves. Figured if there’s ever a platform to bitch and voice my experience this would be it. I’d imagine I’m not the only one.

Moments tho are the killer take up a lot of time and you get no xp for them they have to fix that bs regardless if the moments provide rewards.

Good call on getting 83 xfactor, or maybe wait and just open choose pack when you have enough to complete a captain. Offcourse if one needs base xfactors for their lineup but at this state there shouldn't be many that still good for line up.

Ill be honest ive sacrifised a lot of my coins to build players but i have sundin and 2 captain cards and a minimum of 2 msps from each event. I wanted to buy certain playes and test them out but sitatuing my team has been more important to me and ive been having fun. Ill be honest the calclator has been my best friend since last year i just crunch numbers and think of the best most effecient approach and really analyze what positions needs the most work.

Whats up from Ottawa Sleeves!!!! I need some centers to upgrade my team but i had a question for you! My right hander options are Icons Alfredsson whos a line 1 lock, Eichel, and Zetterlund. I got Celebrini and Michkov for the free next gen event was wondering if i should trade them in for Barzel as since you have to pay for the upgrades to 96-99 and im not a huge fan of them but Im a year long player so do you think they would maybe release free tokens in challenges to help towards their upgrade cost?! Thanks for all the content, i watch you stuff religiously!

I upgraded for barzal and he’s phenomenal with gold wheels. With that being said, i didn’t like celebrini and michkov had great hands and scored a ton. I still don’t regret the move though because barzal will be useable for the next few months

Struggling, feel like I am doing homework rather than playing... i have to play single SB to finish all the quests in time, and have no time to play hut (given that each game is closer to 20 mins I find, with penalties etc...)... then to decide between missions, and wildcards (which is my favorite format, given that it is nice and short) Feel like there is two much going on, i have 30-45 mins to play a day max

Next gen cassa is terrible in sb. Being using that free hellebuck to a 81 and never lost a game. This is on sb superstar. I feel that the cpu plays extra aggressive if your goalie has higher speed.
