My other issue with Chychrun was that PD sold us on the fact that he could play the right side as a lefty. Then it turned out he was brutal on the right. Branny on the right looked better than Chych

The thing here is if a Chychrun trade to Boston for Ullmark works well for Ottawa, it wouldnt clear up a bad move to get Chychrun, but would salvage the bad trade and a decent one we would need, might come out of it, making Staios look good.

Chychrun for Ullmark is not a bad hockey move. If a goalie comes in, we dont know how he will be here, and he will still have a lot of value at the deadline (more than Chychrun) even if he doesnt work, and if he does work out, you extend him and this team finally found their #1. Its a ball i would swing for. You cant go wrong with that move.

@@morganahassell1994 That wouldnt phase me if it makes Boston anymore scary or not. The Bruins still hold the #1 or #2 seed, and the Sens are no where near a playoff spot, so a Chychrun trade to Boston, even if it made Boston more scary, is irrelevant to the Sens. In the Sens position, they need to move up the ranks in anyway they can, and be open to any trade to any team. Its not just Boston Ottawa needs to fear. There's also the Rangers, the Leafs, the Panthers, the Lightning, and the Red Wings that are ahead of them, and will be ahead of them. The Sens main focus should be getting who helps them the most, no matter who the trade is with. It might cost a bit more, but not as much as you think to make that trade, as the main concern with Chychrun was his health, and he lasted all 82 games this year. There's 1year left for Chychrun, who will want a decent pay boost, and 1year left for Ullmark, who also will want a boost. The million dollar question is who would you rather boost?

Twice Chychrun said "I have one year left and that's what I'm concentrating on" Which seems to me to say he thinks he'll be here next year. The quote everybody is concentrating on, Chychrun seemed to answer the question from a contract point of view and not from a "what I want" point of view.

Sens would be crazy to trade Chabot. I have no time for this talk. Nobody moves the puck up and down like he does on the d. The Sens are a completely different team with him out of the line up. It's amazing how much better the puck moves with him in the line up.

That Chychrun interview was really weird. At the trade deadline he talked about buying a property ect ect. This time you could clearly tell he wants out. You could tell throughout the season that he was clashing with Brady and others. Nobody will be surprised when hes traded

Ya I dont blame him for wanting out. There really isn't a fit for him now that Chabot's game has been re-energized this season. Chychrun is still trying to find the right dance partner to be paired with here, whereas Chabot finally found his in JBD. Whether Chychrun wants to stay or not, he needs to be moved, and a Boston trade to get Ullmark makes a lot of sense, even if Ottawa has to add a draft pick or a prospect to get Ullmark, and move off from Forsberg, they should make this move.

At least the organization is trying to win... No doubt changes have to be made. The off season is going to be good. Goaltending the priority but I don't think drastic changes are needed. The sens have 5 goalies in their total system, they have to play their best two, no matter who they are.

Regular time (not Over-time) wins: October 4 wins; November 2 wins; December 5 wins; January 4 wins; February - 4 wins; March 5 wins; April 1 win; 11 road wins, the same as the preceding year. Not including O/T because O/T gives the wrong impression as to the team's performance. 41 games lost in regular time. Players have to own the failure of this season, nobody else. Obviously then, Captain Tkachuk is going to have to get his players performing better and communicate better with coaching staff.

16:21 if players do not want to be here than leave. I am frustrated as a fan to, but I do not think there is an end in site as teams like Montreal, Buffalo, and Detroit will only getting better. Also, Do all of leafs, Tampa, and One of Bruins take steps back? We know the regular season of Toronto and Boston for sure.

we wont get much for chychrun...it will be another boot to the nutz. Brady will be traded eventually, i dont believe he actually wants to be there. Sens are screwed until the find a super hot goalie, and we have possibly the worst including possibly the worst goalie prospect. Staios is no better than anyone else, dont bother lol.
