At the end of the day, it was a disappointing season. But there’s still lots of talent in that room at the end of the day. There needs to be some changes. But at the end of the day, I still believe in the core of this team. A really good off-season with a few key moves could really improve the team at the end of the day. my thesis is that Chycrun does in fact have on more year left on his contract. He mentioned during the interview that he does. He will play for the senators next season. He mentioned that he is uncertain about his future in ottawa beyond next year. In conclusion, Chycrn does have one more year left on his contract with the Senators.

@jasonchristenson1 well I mean if he doesn't want to resign (which he didn't indicate, but said he wants to see what the contract negotiations look like and where they go), then they gotta trade him

Honestly Chychruns gotta go. Clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed, ice cold plus/minus -30, 30 minor penalties(compared to Sandersons 9); and worst of all he clearly doesn’t wanna be here based off that answer to “Is the place where you wanna play for the next several years?” : “Uhh… it’s a tough question uhhh I donno I havent thought about it uhh”. “BS. “I know I have one year left, I haven’t got my head wrapped at that idea” You haven’t thought about your future? He’s a 3rd pair LD on a top team at best…. at the end of the day.
