Fun fact, it's not unheard of for people who fought on opposing sides of a war to actually form friendships after the fact. People can put aside their differences and soldiers finding someone who can relate to their experiences, even an enemy, form bonds with those people. @@Warcriminalwastaken The squad they've assembled contains five titan shifters, an ackerman (I'm excluding Levi as he's injured), the three most skilled regular human soldiers on Paradis plus a highly skilled sharpshooter in Gabi. The troops fighting against them were relatively green with little combat experience. When you think back to season 1 and remember how much trouble the survey corps had dealing with just the female titan it's not a stretch to see why they survived. If anything it's impressive that the Jaegerists came so close to victory.

@@ddandymann While I think the alliance had the strength to win this battle I don't really think they had the strength to protect the boat. In my opinion it should be pretty easy for one of 30+ soldiers to sneak past the 3 titans and remaining scouts and shoot a missile at a giant unmoving target. Also the fact none of the alliance died or even really got injured is kind baffling when most of them were fighting with swords while the Jagerists had guns and many more numbers. That scene in season 3 with Levi vs Kenny showed well how he was not getting shot but here you can watch many moments where Jagerists are just not shooting and letting Alliance members get close and stab them. Overall a decent episode but if you think too hard there are quite a few plot holes/plot armor moments.

Attack Titan Eren would've gotten whooped even faster in this situation with one or two thunder spears. Even the colossal titan cannot win against a huge amount of people because they would kill him once the steam runs out.

People keep crying “genocide” acting as if that’s even a valid justification for how absolutely horrendous these characters are being. This show was great and had solid characters. But Isayama must have been freaking hungover to go from season 1 to 3... to this... I’ll always hold a special place for AOT since it is a solid tale. But the ending is so shamelessly pathetic and ridiculous that it hits new levels of garbage I genuinely thought impossible. I guess it is sorta like Star Wars for me. Great in many respects. But the last bits/new story’s are terrible

The animations terrible this season, only thing that is still ok is the coloring. I know they are on a very tight schedule but, what happened MAPPA? JJK was done so well both anime and movie, even SNK final part 1 was also much better than this...
