End Table GRUNGE Makeover

This week we take these end tables and do something a little different! I ended up using Chalk paint and Chalk Paste along with a Raised Stencil to create a Grungy look and feel. Definitely something I do not normally do but I loved them in the end!

I love your videos and at my age I have learn so much from you. I try to see your videos each time. I hope you keep your videos coming on. I have old desk from 1800's I going to work on and try to bring it back to it's natural state the color of the wood. Then put clear over the desk. God bless. I love those end tables you did. Absolutely love the blotching technique! Great how you transformed these side tables! I think for me I would have loved to see a pewter/silver glaze in place of the light gray wash! But these are fantastic ❤️

I just had to reply to you because I have never known anyone from Toledo Ohio. But I am a huge John Denver fan - after watching a movie with him and Julie Andrews I started skiing after 35 years and found my love for the mountains. Anyway he wrote a song about Toledo Ohio. So I had to say “Hi”. I too make a mess when I paint. I am painting a sewing machine table in my bedroom and knocked over a new quart of paint on my carpet! Thank goodness it was chalk paint and came out! Take care

I love it! I have what could be the exact matching dresser for my daughters’ room. When my husband’s grandparents passed on we were in need of a dresser and it was one that they had in their house. I painted it in old white (Annie Sloan) and the drawer fronts a light blue (can’t remember which now) and I was so surprised how painting it made the legs and overall feel of the furniture more pretty and feminine. I love this style you used on these pieces and I might try to copy it on an old coffee table I have that’s looking a bit beat up! Sorry for writing so much!
