@xbman1 it was discovered she was part of a secret Ming conspiracy to return to power. She therefore couldn't be with the Emperor anymore. The fact that she was the only surviving family member of the last Ming Emperor was never revealed.

No she did not die! She went back to Mingzhu Valley with Zhu Cuxian who had always believed he was the royal heir but he was actually the son of LiDinggo and YiHuan was really the Ming princess! Because a girl couldn't inherit the throne at the time the doctor swapped the babies and everyone thought the royal child was a prince but the fact was that the Ming royal line could only continue through the princess! All of this would have to have been revealed but was stupidly not included in the show! That spoilt the entire thing!!!!

@@ЕкатеринаК-х3о Очень интересная история,если ещё исторически соответствует,то борьба за власть,выживание ,император хотел объединить ,что б лучше было,не было войн,не нужных,хотелось бы конечно продолжения увидеть,на русском только субтитры,а вот на слух понимаешь некоторые слова предложения ,китайский,так показана жизнь ...наряды,быт,отдых....и отношения между людьми высших сословий,воровство чинуш на голоде,деньги император большие давал, Факт,здорово конечно....ничего не меняется ....
