I hate Endeavor. I didn't care for his redemption arc, he caused to much pain to his family for his own self-centered gains to just be forgiven that easily. From Toya (Dabi) "dying", his wife having a mental breakdown which caused her to scare Shoto. And Natsuo not wanting to introduce his fiance to his father.

Yeah it’s really devastating. While I don’t like him I think he’s a really well written character. I don’t think he’s meant to be liked.

While I agree that Endeavor really can't be redeemed, you can't say he's not well written. Learning about Endeavor's true reasoning for being insecure and so headstrong in his ways (his father passing) was really needed for his story. It gave us perspective of why he sees weakness as such a bad thing, the one person he looked up to died because he wasn't strong enough and so he pushed his family to the brink, only to unintentionally repeat the cycle and create a monster because he wasn't strong enough emotionally to give his kids the life they deserved. It's tragic.

Forgiven easily in what way? Toya died because he chose to go up the mountain by himself after the mom told endeavor bro can’t go up the mountain endeavor stopped taking him His mother mental meltdown caused todoroki to be scarred not endeavor. She’s the one who permanently scared him this is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone try to excuse it since the entire fandom realizes she’s still at fault for that

@@ThyBait all Endeavor cared about was trying to create a superhero that can surpass All Might. And since the only time he showed Toya any attention was when he was practicing, of course he's gonna believe that's the only way. And yes while Shotos mother did scar him, do you honestly think she would have still turned him into the Temu version of Zuko if Endeavor was a good husband? The answer is 'no'
