we are real glad that you liked the way she came out. Thanks for the congratulations. what I am about to say is not meant to contradict you but we are not experts in restoring dolls. We learn and research and try to pass on what knowledge we have accumulated to others like ourselves that really need or want help to restore their own dolls. We do have our light bulb moments which we consider gifts. Because we don’t have answers to all problems that arise. Every doll is different and we try to figure out the puzzle to repair that doll. I’ve learned a great deal from your channel. Always interesting as Toni was the doll I wanted for Christmas in 1950. Didn’t get her despite getting lots of those miserable home permanents. 70 years later my daughter got me one and opened the floodgates. Many thanks to you both for all the background information.

We are so happy that this channel is informative. This is the first time we have ever been on social media . We found a doll at a shop. learned it was a Toni and found the Toni fan page. 1.5 years ago. when people learned I restored dolls they asked for a KZbin channel to teach them. we knew nothing about anything to do with KZbin. But here we are. It makes us happy if we can help a little if possible. I was born1951. I wish I could have had one when I was young, what a wonderful doll. I got the permanents to till I was 14 . mom made me. When the Toni came our way boy did those flood gates open in this house🙄😮🤭 Better late than never😉🥰

I restore a lot of vintage doll clothing. I all depends on if I repair it it will become a useful outfit. the others I wash and iron and store just in case something is better then nothing.😂😉🥰

In that video my daughter and I stated that we would responded to everyone but to please be patient because of our health. Since the video showed everyone the winner at the same time. Our responding was in appreciation for all those who participated. Also to thank those that are our supporters and that always tell us how much they love the videos. We also left a statement at the top of the comments on that video that to respond to so many people would take time. Again because of our health and I will add this right now because of your response. We loose power and the internet on a regular basis because we live on a mountain.
