So scary when you are alone and throwing up and crazy blood sugar. Thank goodness for Dexcom and pumps. Hope you are doing better and have an amazing week

It’s crazy how fast ketones can happen when you’re throwing up!! As hard as it is, it’s helpful to have the sugar and take insulin for it so your body doesn’t start breaking down fatty acids for fuel, causing ketones.
