Watching Ina slowly improve on the game especially how she tries to learn how each boss fight is the reason I love watching her. She IMO is the most gamer of EN currently.

for another great comfy stream ina! i hadnt heard of this game before, but seeing it now it looks so gorgeous and art-like… the orchestral soundtrack and melodic ambiance with its somber piano and soft humming is so entrancing and tranquil fitting of the grim and cold yet melancholic atmosphere of the run-down world (though surprisingly upbeat during witch’s thicket) and when different instruments and vocals are evoked to strengthen the motif of the bgm depending on the current background atmosphere (muffled music underwater is a nice touch), especially when all instruments pick up and intensifiy during the boss fights as well as and the eerie quiet preceding them… its all hauntingly beautiful

I found this game thanks to Anya playing it a few months ago, and it's definitely a fun game. The story pieces more together as you proceed and defeat bosses, but that music is top notch for sure. I completed it 100%, and now there's an update that offers NG+ and a boss rush, so I'll be playing more soon. All spirits are viable, but a helpful combat tip is that stunning an enemy (the bar before their health) gives you a few short seconds to attack. That's where the speed of the knight sword comes in. The club swing is slow but builds stun well, and hits vertically (and helps find hidden walls). Every room has something to collect, and only turns orange when you have everything in the room.

At first I felt really bad when dodging because of how she does it It looks so "i try my best" But yeah noticing her appearance change was such a "wtf what?!" moment (And just while I watch this vod I notice that even after Sigrid she gets 1 red braid and the end of her hair is black.. how did I not notice that until way later)

I'm really glad she's enjoying the game. I love everything about it and I think it fits Ina perfectly. Protip in what to invest in, if anyone's interested (no spoiler): Spinny-spin is consistently good even in end-game, grenade is useless, bird is free dmg and should be maxed, floral shreds enemy's guard, poison is useless since most enemies move around too much, hammer bro hits hard but is way too slow so not worth, sorceress is the best ranged attack. As for a good melee main weapon, just wait until the next one Ina unlocks, she'll be an arguably better version of the knight and is worth maxing.

What I like about the heals is that 1. You can interupt it. So if you pressed it accidentally you can stop. Or if you heal but have to dodge an enemy you can 2. If you are full health and accidentally heal it doesn't remove a heal

Reminds me of CastleVania on the PS1 makes like 15 years i have not played that! also i understand for the music part, when you want to listen to the full song but the battle ends before! i make my own music and when i tried to make a RPG on RPG maker 2000, i kept being bothered that the songs cut short each battles or map switches... (tho most songs i made ended up useless over the years. MIDI is as archaic as an Abacus for a calculator.) EDIT wrote Abacusa instead of Abacus...
