Solitaire has ads about Outbyte's rogue driver optimizer too that reads "follow these steps to speed up your computer". I also see very horribly disgusting ads that show content that encourages you to go to a link that downloads a possible scam. The ad reads: "you will never turn off your computer again" and/or "play for 1 minute and you will see why everyone is addicted". Anyone who is aware of addiction will immediately refrain from clicking these links.

At least the program it leads to appears fairly benign, all things considered. Using fake popups to advertise your program is never okay though, and of course it does absolutely nothing but sit there and collect data unless you pay for it. Never install garbage like this on your host PCs, driver updaters, registry cleaners, and PC optimizers are all totally useless and just slow down your PC.

People should really give some time into the popups, just try moving it around, if you are still not sure, try moving it out of the browser! I can't belive how people in this day in age still fall for these low level kind of scams, seemes like zoomers have even less internet awarness then their parents.

use a usb / cd win 7/10 installation drive and open cmd with repair thing. try typing "bootrec /fixmbr && bootrec /fixboot && bootrec /rebuildbcd" let me know if it worked or not. last resort could be using windows pe to backup your important files and reinstalling the os

Uninstall Tool requires paid membership to remove all traces? I don't use remove all traces since even trusted tools can lead to system issues since sometimes these tools get multiple programs mixed up when they are using the same files. This can cause other programs to break. I always use the normal uninstaller.
