I noticed that too, ergos feel lighter than their actual weight compared to ambis. I guess it's because on ergos you usually have a larger contact area. Or maybe it's just because ergos are often larger. The wired version of the xm2 (52g) felt heavier than my wired deathadder (57g)

Mine came yesterday in the dark frost colorway as well. I had a long session with it, and my initial impressions are all positive. I definitely believe there is such a thing as a mouse being too light and 55-65g is the sweet spot. You start sacrificing control and durability. I felt dialed in immediately with this, and it feels rock solid like a Vaxee or Zowie mouse. The buttons and scroll wheel are all well implemented like you said I had a bad experience with an XM2e like four years ago with QC issues. I thought I would give them another shot, and they redeemed themselves. Edit: So after about a month of using it I started getting switch grinding, and my mouse 1 button shell has a bit of side to side flex, which is probably causing the grinding. It started happening so frequently it just bothers me to use the mouse anymore, and I retract my statement about EGG QC. Pretty disappointed.

Haven't had any issues at all with it but I have wanted to try other mice but feel like it would be a waste of money and would just go back to the GPX 2. I switch around from finger tip to claw it really depends on what game because on apex I grip my mouse differently. Based off my thoughts do you think I should try a hitscan hyperlight / xm2w or just keep staying on my GPX 2 since It's not really an upgrade yea. Hero 2 sensor to a 3395 doesn't really matter its just shape and form I should care about I assume for comfort?

i have the beast x mini, as well as now this mouse, and tbh i prefer the weight of this mouse. ive found with the beast x mini its so light that i actually have a hard time aiming straight, and also i move the mouse ever so slightly when i click, making my clicks inaccurate by a hair. this mouse is a little big for my hands, ig i just have smaller hands for a guy iunno, but i really gotta reach for that scroll wheel and front side button lol. maybe im just used to how close everything was with the beast x mini, and eventually i wont notice how big the mouse is. also prolly doesnt help i wear an arm sleeve so i don't get a rash on my wrist, pushes everything just a little further away. who knows. anyways, im in love with this thing. I'll miss the aesthetics of the beast x mini with its colors and shine and lil cat designs on mouse 1 and 2, and ofc the kitty dongle, but the xm2w is just better for me in terms of performance lol. I'll sacrifice the aesthetics. maybe find some cute grip tape eventually to put on it
@Frozoken28 күн бұрын
Yeah as someone with the maya x which weighs almost exactly halfway between the beast x mini and the xm2w 4k I'd say this is about the lightest I'd go. 50g is honestly the perfect weight imo and I wish lamzu added 3 grams or so to give it a bigger battery. How's the battery life on yours?
@taytayaxolatte28 күн бұрын
@Frozoken the battery life on my mini is decent far as i know, i can use it about 3 or 4 days before having to plug it up, and ill play anywhere from 6 to 8 hours at a time. battery life is great for such a light mouse, its impressive really. if i practiced more with it id likely get passed the little user errors i have with it, which would be nice as it fits my hand perfectly... but man ive had the thing for a while now and i still have little accuracy issues while pushing the buttons on it, and its getting me killed in black ops 6 lol. i just got the xm2w yesterday and even on first use despite it feeling like i can barely reach the buttons my precision is tangibly way tighter, im not getting micro movements when i push the buttons on it, and i feel much more confident flinging the thing around and staying on target lol. I'll still use and try to improve how i use the beast x mini, but for right now im enjoying the extra weight and tbh also grip the xm2w provides. thats another thing with the beast x mini, without grip tapes the thing is slippery as hell lol, have a hard time keeping a secure hold on it without them on. this coating on the xm2w is amazing, smooth as could be yet that thing is not going anywhere once its in your grip.

@@Frozoken update on the xm2w 4k. the dongle isnt working anymore, idk what happened. was in the middle of a bo6 match and it died. the mouse itself still works, if i plug it in, but the long awaited wireless xm2 is no longer wireless for me. todays been a pretty shitty day in terms of things not working so i was already upset and this just completely ruined my day lol, im gonna read a book. oh, i forgot to mention, its possible the mouse is just dead but id have no way of knowing if thats the case because i got no indication of that with the led on the mouse and the configuration tool is useless in that matter. the only info it gives on battery life with the mouse plugged in is charging, and if the dongle is plugged in it gives no battery info. also, the led on the mouse is still green(which is the color of my dpi setting) when its in wireless configuration. no blinking red or anything. also, last night i had the mouse plugged in all night. so itd be odd if it was dead already. that partially answers your original question on battery life tho, out of the box the battery lasted about 4 days. i also got no warning of the battery dying then either, it just stopped working in the middle of me playing zombies and got me killed so who knows, maybe that was an early sign of the dongle failing.

@@FreshReviewsYT 15g (20%) is a big deal and it makes a huge difference in my performance. Noticed a difference, when switching from the og Superlight to the Pulsar x2h v2 mini, even though it was around 10g less. Then I switched switched to the Ninjutso Sora V2 and it was also a well noticeable difference. My micro adjustments and flicks feel way more natural, are more precise and faster. If you state, that 15g don’t make a difference in your gameplay, it’s fine. But don’t get passively aggressive by your wording and end your comment with „It is what it is“. Also you’re trying to make your personal experience generally applicable as if I am stupid.
