@@MrGalRoz it's supposed to be a prequel, but the way I see it everything's been resolved here already, making the SOL event an unnecessary sequel. If they wanted to retcon Akshan and Vex's introduction to the story and Thresh's new form they could just add them as standalone content. You know, like they added Rell, Samira and Lillia, three champions that have nothing to do with the recent events.

@@filosfilos4572 ugh this is dumb. I liked the sentinels cinematics but i liked more the events of this game or whatever this is and this group compared to the SoL group. This is why im in favor of making as many seasons of Arcane(assuming the same overall quality of season 1) and having arcane be the highest priority canon of every story that it covers.

Pyke, on the other hand, became a sentinel of light and fought off the Black Mist, eventually helping Akshan destroy Viego once and for all. The ending here heavily foreshadows what would happen.

Sweet, sweet Sarah, you are becoming the very thing you overthrew... ; ; I really do hope they make another one of these. I have a number of gripes with regards to gear and balance (like how Lifesteal and Evasion are absolute garbage because you can't reasonably build them up and Runes are disgustingly OP compared to everything else) but this was a top notch RPG, absolutely loved it. I still consider myself a recent convert, only having really started to care when LoR launched but ever since I've felt more and more attached to these characters, and the lore of Runeterra. The Rest conversations were low-key the best part of this game (they need to ship Braum and Illaoi already) Riot truly has something magical on their hands between this and Arcane, and here's hoping it only gets better going forward *EDIT: Just for clarity, I beat the game for the 1st time earlier today, got off black Friday sales half off ^^ loved every second of it.

agh, it's especially frustrating when the ending sets up the whereabouts of the party at the end of this game and onto the Ruination event. I HATE THAT THEY NEVER ADDRESSED WHERE THE PARTY FROM THE RUINED KING GAME. ALONG OTHER QUESTIONABLE STORY/CHARACTER CHOICES! The Party aiding the Sentinels or becoming one themselves is such a missed opportunity. And I especially HATED how the Ruination was used as a Deus EX Machina for Viego to easily corrupt an ENTIRE NATION AND THEIR CHAMPION with such little effort. I HATED HOW PANTHEON WAS EASILY CORRUPTED!

Pantheon wasn't corrupted the god was revived and took over again making Atreus watch as he committed horrors there for in the call cinematic he holds back using his powers again after seeing atrocities committed with them

@@thunderbasilisk776 He doesn't hold back. Pantheon's power is not for him to call upon just like that. To use the power of the aspect of war, Pantheon requires an iron will and determination. He lost those and turned into a broken man after the aspect of war was revived and turned him into a passenger again. In the call, that is him regaining his power through rekindling his will in combat.

It's real canon. Sentinels of light is canon and not canon simultaneously. The core parts of VIEGO RISES and VIEGO FALLS are canon, as well as Pantheon getting ruined. The rest is up in the air.
