I don't understand why people call decks broken when they're good. This deck is simply highly synergistic. There's nothing "broken" about Warlock atm. Raza + Anduin is broken because you can't play around it and you can't counter it. Just like the Jade mechanic which enables a ramp deck to beat any control deck that doesn't run a specific hate card. But this, this is just beautiful.

2 voidlords I can handle. With N'zoth and Gul'dan DK bringing back infinite numbers of them and cube spawning multiples of them, etc., it definitely seems broken to me.

pavi Which decks are you playing? I think secret mage beats this, dead man's hand warrior should have decent chance as well or just a good aggro deck with double spellbreaker. Highlander Priest ofc isn't really worth mentioning

What would BoJack do secret mage definitely does not beat this, unless you’re running like potion of polymorph, in which case you lose to just about everything else. I’ve tried a fair bit of midrange hunter with double spell breaker, and you lose to combo-cubelock using doom guards to clear your board and you still only beat these more standard control-locks with really good draws and the warlock getting somewhat unlucky on their draws, and dead man’s hand warrior just tends to lose against aggro decks like the paladin or hunter or tempo rogue, so overall pretty bad to queue with unless you’re finding like only warlocks.

What would BoJack do Firebat himself kind of says the deck is broken in the video when he comments about giving his opponent a free 5/5 on turn 2. And there really isn’t much you can do to play around this stuff. Sure, you can silence it but then you pretty much have to kill them that same turn or have it set up to kill them the next turn or else they just board clear and dark pact a mistress or something to get out of range and bring the voidlord back later with guldan or n’zoth. Other than that, you’re just hoping your opponent gets screwed on their draws.

It's just the first well functioning control deck in an all-aggro game in my opinion. It doesn't even always beat aggro and tempo decks and people still freak out over it. The character of any good control deck is that after a certain point in the match the opponent will get locked out of the game.

It's a fatigue deck, your opponent having 2 less cards than you is good for a fatigue deck. And a turn 2 2/3 is okay for keeping up on tempo against a tempo deck.

Why Coil instead of librarian? Both draw but the 2 damage to face powers up the spell stone where as only having hell fire makes it tough to get too much out of it. I guess there are a lot of 1 health minions atm, but seems close.

Meeqs B you don't want to draw all the time because this is a fatigue deck. That one damage from coil can be used to set up a defile, trade, or hellfire alot of times also

Nah he fucked that one up, he should have known that corridor creeper would be insane. Kabal Crystal Runner is being played (and was even before explosive runes) and everyone thought that card would be unplayable forever, and its effect requires a specific archetype of deck. Also the fact that happy ghoul saw any amount of experimentation should have clued him in, because it's basically a happy ghoul that you can use in tempo decks (where a 0-mana 5/5 is the most impactful).
