Endless Pens Unboxing: The Sailor Manyo Gourd & Persimmon Sets!

The design on the finial looks like a persimmon to me. They grow wild where I live, fall all over the road, have lots of seeds and not much flesh, and are not reliably palatable, but once there's a frost, the colors are bonkers.

The finials on these Manyo pens are mind-boggling, given that they match the inspiration for the ink rather than the pen (if you know what I mean!). That said, they are beautiful. I have Persimmon and Bamboo Shoot. I love the translucent caps and the color combinations--and of course I love the way they write, especially the MF nibs. Thanks for the video!

Oh, how I wish these pens were offered in the standard PG version, too. I easily prefer that size and the 21k nibs. While both these pens look sweet, I much prefer the Gourd. edit: Both the inks are no less pretty than the pens.

I know. The regular ProGear is preferable, but I def couldn’t have bought two of those. 😅

Elegant yet fun pens. Sailor did themselves proud. And the inks are deep and beautiful. Perfect Autumnal palette!

@@ruthfeiertag They really are very attractive and desirable. I think Mike had showed a bunch of other PG Slim pens of this series (in other lovely color combinations). I swear it would be swell to have them all. And yea, the inks are just as nice. I love Sailor inks, in general. I own very many bottles already.
