To Ben, for me there were 2 moments for me where your love for MTG truly shone, first when you got Meathook off of CGB and gained 7 life - your whole demeanor was like you’d just boarded ‘that one’ rollercoaster you’ve been dying to try and were finally tall enough. Second, you brought all the trample, lifelink, etc. tokens you needed and outclassed CGB (who forgot to bring emblems)! Alela is a deck near and dear to me, it's one I've been tweaking for some time, it's esper enchantress. Watching Shea play it in a game and do so well just made me glad inside. I've seen Alela flop in so many other games or they just used her for colors effectively. But this was chef's kiss even if you didn't win Shea, I was on your side the whole ride!

I think this game was my favourite one you've done out of all the shows (just recently finished binging this entire series until the most recent one). Having all decks be somewhat board based made it way more dynamic and interactive between players imo. Also no instant win combos makes it more interesting.

Ben is like a silent killer. He's quiet all game, just casually casting a creature every now and then. And then BAM!, here's my 10/10 Commander with a bunch of stuff, and you're dead! Would really love to watch the unedited version, but that might make the algorithm sick, so that's probably not happening. What a game, though! So fun to watch!!

Congrats to Ben! That deck is awesome! So was the game. So many cool things happened in that game. So nuts! I was curious about what should have happened with the bird token that was given to Shae by Blake, after he died. 1:17:23 So I googled and found that when Blake died the token would also have left since it was a permanent that he owned. As all Permanents a player owns exiles when the player leaves the game. 800.4a. When a player leaves the game, all objects (see rule 109) owned by that player leave the game, any effects which give that player control of any objects or players end, and all spells and abilities controlled by that player on the stack cease to exist. Then, if there are any objects still controlled by that player, those objects are exiled. This is not a state-based action. It happens as soon as the player leaves the game. If the player who left the game had priority at the time he or she left, priority passes to the next player in turn order who’s still in the game. Found that to be fascinating to read and now know. Of course since the game is pre-recorded it doesn't change the outcome of course. Once again congrats to Ben! 😁

why at the end Shea didn't blocked commander damage with 5 creatures? she had 4x 2/2 and her commander that would block 10 commander damage.

Because the attacker had deathtouch, meaning it can assign just one damage to each blocker and the rest to her (through trample). Even though the creatures won't die (due to indestructible), any damage from a source with deathtouch is still considered lethal damage, and thus the rest can trample through.
