Seriously! We have had so many issues getting sunshine at our campsite. We were moving our solar panels like 10 times a day! So this is fantastic!

You need to put fuses right off the battery. If you get into a car accident there's no protection of The wire. The wire is hot all the time and if a car hits you and cuts that wire. This could cause a big problem if gasoline is leaking. I would put a fuse on a negative side and also the positive side of the battery before I ever install a piece of wire running from the battery to wherever.

Charger 1 has monitoring inside the unit for any disturbance to it's input or output sides so if you're in an accident and the cable gets damaged either side, it will error out and not be live. Thanks for your dramatic comment

U want that 70 amp breaker closet to the battery not inside and the cable u ran near the running board brackets u should protect it with a rubber hose at every stop near the metal brackets so it doesn’t rub through more of the reason u want the breaker closest to the battery so if it does rub it would pop the breaker the way u have it will go on fire because there’s no breaker between the battery and camper area

Let’s say your stationary but want to charge your solar generator can you just idle your truck? Would charge rate slow down? Eco flow alternator will charge to 800 watts Bluetti to 500 watts . Eco flow can be used with eco flow only but you can then charge other generators from the eco flow a work around .

Yes, it charges just as quickly when we are idle as when our truck is in motion. The most we have seen as far as input is 560 W! By far the most input we have ever seen while off-grid!

@@honeyiroam thank you that’s important when you stay put. You probably have a high output alternator since you have a large truck. I have a 1990 Vanagon I’m going to find out my alternator output . Good thing for me is my starter battery is under drivers seat so easy connections. I;m going with the eco flow alternator because I have the eco flow 2400 w generator then I’ll charge my 1400w yeti goal zero generator off the eco flow . The Bluetti alternator is what I’m recommending to my friends due to price and use with all generators. Thanks for the video.

Definitely a potential game changer, having a Bluetti DC to DC charge controller! I wonder how many can be installed on one vehicle? How long did it take to recharge your PowerBar? You can quick tie that long cable along the underside of the rig.
