Congratulations on the new home. Love your channel. Someone else has probably pointed it out but the timing cover on the Kid's C-10 does not look correct for that year truck. The timing indicator appears to be strait up. I think they started that position a few years later. The one correct for that truck would be some where between 1 and 2 o'clock position. So make sure you get the correct harmonic balancer for the timing tab location.

Aaron, the trick to drilling gel coat is two part. First drill through the gel coat surface in reverse, then switch to forward to drill through the fiberglass. Second, use a countersink on the hole before putting a screw into it. It chips and spider cracks because most people rush and just shove a drill bit & screw through. Also, you should use sealant on every screw hole. The general rule is 3M 4200 on anything above the waterline and 3M 5200 on anything below.

This being my favorite channel it was fun having the weekend type attempted wrap up of several projects. Though not much got done, it is more important to make time for yourselves. Your family as we see them, have been very good to you two. Carrying heavy debt has its’ downsize as I have stated in the past. Why be house poor and not be able to afford being able to have some fun in your lives. Why your channel doesn’t have a million subscribers is a mystery to me. Now that Aaron has been talking more the videos have become far more interesting. It would be nice to see you guys finishing some projects. Your new to you house should be your business location and trips need to be business trips, not vacations. Be careful, stay safe, and have fun. See you both next video. Gauge on fuel 28:40 a resistor that can be adjusted to make it read correctly. Check ground on tank and should be really easy fix. At least it is on my MG A. Moss motors has parts if needed. The float is $49. And takes less than ten minutes to change.

I love that you bring your family into your videos, its REAL, and so is not finishing projects. I'm happy to learn "the Kid" has an actual name too. I jump from one project to another myself, sometimes waiting on a part, or the money to buy the part and sometimes I get frustrated and need a break, so I get away from it for a while, work on something else and come back to it later. I'm glad to see y'all working on Roxy again. Tell Alaia, alias Lila, alias the Kid if ever we meet at a car event I will be wanting her autograph.

Been watching you'll for many years now. Aaron said something early in the video about people not watching. Not a complaint, but what my determination for watching your videos these days is the length of time. I don't mind 30 minutes+-, but for a while now they have been really long. I have so many I watch and follow, I kinda have to watch the time. I would suggest asking your viewers what they would prefer and run with that. Congrats on your new home and glad you love it. I'm 76 and had a 72 Midget. If memory serves me... there is a carbon canister that the British put in the boot some where to vent the fumes, that had two tubes..that may be your culprit because of the emissions standards back then...it ruined a beautiful.roadster.

It's hard to find appreciation for a Nissan but back in the 90s that was The Budget Supercar! I had 10 wonderful years with my '84 300ZX Turbo. I learned a ton about cars while I had it and it was more reliable than it had any reason to be. Aerodynamic, comfortable, plenty of power and room for all my tools in the back.❤

Renovating two houses might be a bit rough. I bought a house 8 months ago. It's built in 1948, I believe. Plumbing, piping, electrics and kitchen had already been renovated but there has been a lot of work still. And there will be more to come...

Projects are not called projects for nothing, a project is never finished because there is always something that you need or want to change , If you restore or renovate something, you often have to wait for parts, which means it takes a long time and it looks to the outside world as if nothing has been completed. it's great that you were able to buy your grandparents' lake house, and you're right, if you live next to your workplace you'll never get any rest

Congrats on the new home, if all your family wasn't next to your other house it would probably make sense to sell your existing and buy a commercial property for the shop, but with that usually comes more building code/oversight etc... you might be surprised how much that first house is worth now. I think every youtube channel gets the "you don't ever finish a project" comments--- I mean are project cars ever finished? I don't film but I have 4 projects in the air right now... I think the only people that expect you to finish projects are the ones with no projects, or maybe people that build things to sell. The project is about the journey of building something not always about having something done. Though it does feel good to "finish" one and get it out of the shop. I do have some projects I do that has a set finish line, one of my requirements for home renovations, if I start one of those I don't start a new project until it is finished, keeps the scope creep down.
