Endless Star Wars Battlefield Invasion

Unedited video clips of a map running random scripts showcasing Endless display of carnage between droids, Storm troopers, walkers, turrets, air and ground vehicles. The Rebels and the Empires dynamic use of paratroopers, deploying sandbags, orbital strikes and air reinforcements. All soldiers can operate nearby unmanned turrets. Any soldier or medic can carry and treat any nearby wounded to fall back to nearby allies.
Had a lot of fun revisiting and making a map from an old Men of War game, thanks to a Star Wars mod (Star wars Galaxy at War www.moddb.com/mods/star-wars-gaw-mow/downloads) and wanted to share some gameplay hope you enjoy.

I have a story for this: The Empire locates a Rebel hideout on said world. They deploy a task force, close to a remote village. However, the Rebels have dug in the week prior and have bolstered their ranks with sympathizers on the planet. The sympathizers had looted several Clone-War era vehicles and had modified it to help in the defense. Some Geonosian refugees had also made contact with the Rebels and donated weapons as a sign of defiance, given that their species was annihilated by the Empire. The Geonosians did not trust trust the rebels either, however as the rebels want to bring back the Old Republic. Unbeknownst to both sides the planet was also a droid grave yard and the Geonosians reactivated any salvageable droids they had scavenged to attack both sides as a distraction so that they could escape the ensuing war zone.

Problem is, the CIS droids didn’t attack till after the imperials lines moved past then canyon from where they were hiding. It’s my opinion that then rebels was aware of an old droid factory here and used some of the stuff such as static defenses, to defend their base. The rest they hid away and waited till the right moment. Also the amount of explosions would of made WH40K orcs blush

It looked like more storm troopers were killed by Imperials than they were killed by rebel fire. I swear Star Destroyer blasts were hitting the AT-ATs and not the rebel base.

It wouldn't work because the Galactic Civil War barely had battles like this in scale. The only eras that mad extremely massive battles were during the Clone Wars and Old Republic era.

The story (as far as I've seen) goes like this: It is the beginning of the Galactic Civil War. A Rebel detachment has been chased across the galaxy by a sizable Imperial fleet and has landed on a desert planet, previously contested during the Clone Wars. As the rebels set up their ramshackle base, they come across supplies, ships, weapons and even a deactivated droid army near an abandoned village. They decide to utilize a hangar bay of gunships and tanks from the Republic, and send a squad to attempt to reactivate the droids. Suddenly the Empire lands with a full invasion force, and begins to seige the Rebels. As the battle continues, the heroes of the Rebellion finally succeed in drawing in the Imperial forces, then launch a counter-offensive from two sides, sending the droids into their right flank while pushing back from the front. As the battle rages on it slowly dawns on the Imperial troops that they cannot break through to the intrenched Rebel base. With half their ground forces cut off by the reactivated Separatist droids, their forward positions being consistantly bombarded by mortars, and their transports and lighter assault craft being shot down, they begin to realize they did not corner the Rebellion... the Rebellion cornered them.

Zach Trolltaku I'd place this at 8 months before the Battle of Scarif. And that the Rebels eventually had to evacuate their makeshift base due to continuous Imperial counter attacks and orbital Bombardments after 3 months of maintaining this base. This was a tactical victory for the Rebellion however (Scarif was the first Major victory that made a difference) The Rebels here are of an Expeditionary Rebel Fleet that was forced to make a stand on this desert world. The ships were dismantled into the base. (I'm just trying to expand on that tremendously awesome comment)

This was an amazing battle! My story is that this might be a 3rd battle of geonoceous but the galactic civil war! The rebels use the planet as a hide out but the empire had plans to invade geonoceous and wipe out the geonotion species and they ran into the rebel base and the battle has begun between the rebels and the empire then the geonotions opened a droid factory and ordered a droid army to attack the invaders and the defenders it was bloody for all 3 sides

I like how there's just shit from every era of Star Wars in here. You have the Czerka Sandcrawler and the APC from the Old Republic along with Rebel Alliance troopers and TIE Bombers and Interceptors, then you have the LAAT/is and the Trade Federation Lander from the Clone Wars. But the creme de la creme? The Citadel Station transport shuttles. Very nice addition. Someone just took a bunch of Star Wars shit from every era and threw it at the wall, I love it. Very nicely done.
