I felt a little guilty after seeing so many people requesting this and the Mega Man Killers songs so I just had to go back and wrap things up properly. Glad that you've stuck around for this long and sorry for keeping you waiting!

My kingdom for a megaman game where there's the option to battle through ALL of the robot masters from the entire original cannon, in an endless style battle, with Zero as the final boss. You'd have to choose which 8 weapons to keep and which to discard throughout the royale untill you reach the blood thirsty god of destruction himself zero.

This song sounds amazing and i would love to ask what was used for every component of the song, but i know that might be too much to ask. I do gotta ask what you used for the synth pads that show up at 1:33 tho.
@Gencoil3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! That would be my trusty Synth1 VST which I've been using for years. It's a free virtual analogue synth and incredibly versatile for shaping sounds. There's a lot going on here so it's complicated to explain in detail. But it's basically a combination of three different oscillators - square, sine and a sawtooth suboscillator at a lower octave. Then there's some subtle use of detuning and LFO modulation.

Can't wait for Get the Punk Out and Wily stages 1/2! Still asshurt about MM11 what a dissapointment
@LowkeyJouta3 жыл бұрын
In what way was it disappointing?
@MrFranklinz3 жыл бұрын
@@LowkeyJouta the music was a downgrade, no protoman or bass modes, generally boring level design. But understand I am biased because 9/10 are some of my favorite games ever it got me into retro games to begin with. I just prefer the nes/snes style and that's not against the game itself. Edit: excuse my dumbass they added bass/protoman as DLC maybe I'll try it again!

The music in Mega Man 11 was a big step backwards, almost every song has the same slightly detuned synths with portamento all over. Even the old 8-bit music, despite its limited amount of sounds and channels, manages to have more variety.

@@Gencoil The melodies all suck too, EXCEPT for Fuse Man
@BenedictAndroid3 жыл бұрын
@@dimwiddy9808 I think the arranged soundtracks do a lot to fix the problems with MM11’s instrumentation. Fuse Man’s theme works well with heavy synth, but most of the other don’t.
