you know, i usually make stories for fast-paced action stuff but, i'm gonna try something different. _”Brianna, dinner is ready.”_ Those were the quiet words of my older sister. I glanced up, and saw her standing by the door. I quickly took out my earbuds and stood up from my desk. “Already? Jeez, you’re as fast as Mom now, Malila!” My sister rolled her eyes. _”We’ll see about the taste factor.”_ She muttered, motioning for me to come to the dining room. I bounded after her, stretching a bit. One could say we were polar opposites. I was the happy, smiling younger sister, while Malila was the quiet, mellow one. We both sat down at the dinner table, and I couldn’t help myself from glancing at the sunset out of the window. Malila noticed, but didn’t comment on it. She opened up her phone, and her brow furrowed. “Something wrong?” I asked, taking a piece of tofu and popping it into my mouth. _”Nah, nothing’s wrong. Just saw something interesting.”_ She turned her phone to show me her screen. _”It’s some sort of advertisement for a social experiment. Says they’re paying anybody that is willing to participate.”_ I let out a small hum as I read the words. “‘Aquaphonic-03’, huh? Sounds cool.” _”I might register. We’re running a little short on cash, after all.”_ I blinked, not expecting that. “Really? How do we know this isn’t a scam, Malila?” My sister sighed. _”We don’t, but we don’t really have a choice.”_ I frowned, before putting my fork down. “I’ll go with you.” Malila blinked at me in return, before a rare smile crept onto her face. _”Even if I said no, you’d find a way to follow me, won’t you?”_ I shrugged, picking up my fork again and chewing on a piece of steak. “What? Can’t a girl stick with her sister?” The smile on Malila’s face widened briefly before fading, and she looked back at her phone. _”I’ll sign us both up.”_ She said with a small sigh, before giving me a playful glare. _”You better behave yourself while you’re there, Brianna, or I’ll punt you to the sun and back.”_ I grinned. “No guarantees.” We finished dinner. Tomorrow, we leave for whatever this “Aquaphonic-03” thing is. nice, chill song. i like :> this comment may or may not be related to the story i have written in “Fate of the World”. No guarantees :)
