Nearsighted habit are hard. They take time to identify and break. For me it was trying to remember, (1) blink (video games are bad for this); (2) stop looking at the ground or something close while walking (distance looking); (3) look far while driving;

Good Video. One Tip that I want to throw out, since we are getting into winter here in the northern hemisphere. Natural sunlight is important. So you will probably notice a slow down in your results over the winter. I personally get most of my reductions outside the window of Nov-Feb. Even living in the southern part of the US and doing lots of outside activities in the winter, the light levels are just too low and the days are too short to get the same reductions. So if you are new and seeing this, just understand. Keep up the good work and you will be rewarded when the light levels go back up. A second tip, if you are starting or doing an equalizing step (monocular drop), is to use a brock string (you can make one for under a dollar --- the size of the beads don't matter much). Even if you "pass" the test that you are seeing both strings, the exercise really does help keep eye dominance in line during those more difficult sets (even if you just do it for 2-min a couple times a week). I didn't do it for almost the first year. I started having trouble with one eye not catching up to the other (I have a very complicated visual plan because of how my astigmatism presents). Though this might be much slower than something as extreme as patching, it is something that won't have a negative side-effect.

Thanks for your tips and the comment! yup winter can slow things down a bit but I agree that warmer months speed things up. I haven't equalized yet so I will definitely look into this once I get there!

Hey Negar! Just wandered across your channel. Subbed it. I was researching about this as well, by the way I have 3.5D on my both eyes. In my case as I am a Software Developer with heckload of work, I am literally 24*7 either on my laptop or phone. So I can't get rid off it. But I always switch on the Night Light to filter the blue light, I don't know how useful it is though. Right now I have 2.75D glasses, so I am going to research more and will start from next month. I am also very lazy in this thing, lol. Having skipped numerous times. Though, now I have decided I will figure it out and will give it a try. I will update you accordingly in this comment section and and as well in your upcoming videos. By the way, do you think -2.75D glasses would be fine to start as I have -3.5, heard some folks mention -0.75 would be rough on eyes and would be a waste? Have you seen Todd Becker's presentation video on this reduced lens method? If not, search it up. He says exactly the same. Do update us regularly about your recent findings and tips.

You're really ahead of me! I don't have any experience with lower diopters yet but I know the last diopter can be difficult because you don't have the constant stimulus of the glasses, I would recommend checking out the Endmyopia resources for low diopters, good luck!

How to improve the eyes in winter?😢❤
@NotNearsighted
@NotNearsighted 15 күн бұрын
Winter might slow things down but also I've noticed I am more busy in the winter months so less phone use. You can still improve but could be a bit slower. I try to focus on my near work habits in the winter and also try to go outside in the middle of the day when I can! Or really focus on outdoor time on the weekends! Good luck!

Is your rx(Diaptor power)measured by doctor?? i am curious to know
@NotNearsighted
@NotNearsighted 15 күн бұрын
I measure my eyes using the cm measurements and the eye chart. I've gone to the optometrist once in this process and I'll go again in the future of course, but not a priority for me because the eye chart and what I see in the distance (mountains...) already indicates how well I can see!

@NotNearsighted 15 күн бұрын
That is great! I highly recommend getting the differentials and doing the Endmyopia method all together. The near work and differentials glasses aspect is so important as it can really slow your progress! Good luck!

Hi. I have -3.25 D and - 3 D in my left and right eyes respectively. I am planning to reduce it naturally. A conversation with you would really help me cure my eyesight and join in my dream company. Can I get your email please.
